SWITZERLAND (?), late 18th - early 19th century White and gilt silver (min. 800) oval vinaigrette. The grid engraved and openworked with two hearts in foliage and marked "F.H.B MELW" and "Rien ne peut les séparer" in phylacteries. Goldsmith's hallmark: A.P.N. Three chevrons hallmark, possibly for NEUCHATEL (?). Weight: 37 g. - 4 x 3.2 x 2.5 cm. Wear, scratches and minor knocks.
