FRANCE, early 20th century Dressing table decorated with rosewood checkerboard inlaid reserves in brown wood frames, with a tripartite top revealing two cellars and a central compartment with a dark beveled mirror cover, opening with two drawers and a waist pull, and resting on four arched legs. Plain veneered back. Gilded bronze or brass trim. Late Louis XV style. 75.2 x 83.5 x 45.5 cm. Some wear, scratches, cracks and chips, notably to the marquetry.
