Fluted brass tip screwed onto a gadrooned crown resting on a cruciform base finished with four star-shaped gadroons.
Openwork brass front plate representing the great coat of arms of Bavaria.
Brass scale chinstrap on leather strap and brass front visor band.
Cockades probably for junior officers or non-commissioned officers, repainted in the colors of the German Empire and Prussia.
Scratches, bumps and wear to brass and repaints. Necker ring missing.
