INDIA, Sindh, early 20th century System katar dagger in iron with silver niello decoration. H-shaped handle with double crosspiece in silver damask floral decoration. Opening blade with two small cutting edges, revealing a small blade. Heel of the opening blade ornamented in niello with floral and foliate cartouches. Length of small blade: 16.4 cm - Length of opening blade: 20.5 cm. - Total length: 41 cm. Blade opening mechanism to be revised, jamming. As is. Wear and oxidation.
