Beautiful, large brooch in (750) yellow and white gold and ( - Lot 70

Beautiful, large brooch in (750) yellow and white gold and (850) platinum, featuring a baton de tambour major and a drum, the clamping circles adorned with a line of calibrated sapphires in closed setting, the twisted platinum wire ropes enhanced with small rose-cut diamonds in closed and grained settings. On the striking skin are two black enameled baguettes. The baton is entirely paved with princess, rose and navette-cut diamonds in rail-set and pearl-close-set, alternating with small crossed ribbons set with calibrated rubies in pearl-rail-set, and finished with a mobile pompom paved with calibrated rubies in pearl-rail-set. Circa 1910-1920. Gross weight: 20.3 g. - Length: 10.8 cm. - Drum height: 2.5 cm. Slight wear on the reverse of the drum.
