Army senior officer's uniform dagger, 1939 model.
Brass mounting, stylized crown-shaped pommel.
Metal spindle sheathed in black leather and braided brass filigree. Crossbar with inverted quillons.
Double-edged steel blade, etched with the double-headed eagle of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
Stamped copper scabbard with oak leaf decoration. Scabbard decorated with the double-headed eagle.
Blade length: 21.4 cm - Total length: 38 cm.
Wear to gilding and leather; scratches and dents, notably to scabbard; oxidation; corrosion to heel of blade; crack and old soldering to bolt.
