PORTUGAL or BRAZIL, 19th century Moulded black-veined brown wood chest of drawers opening with six drawers on four rows with fronts carved with large leaves and oval cartouches in reserves, resting on four splayed feet carved with foliage ending in scrolls with an antique patina. Wooden top edged with moldings. Moulded gilt bronze trim with rocaille decoration. Attached locks. 107 x 135.8 x 70.5 cm. Insolate, stains, cracks, splinters, splinters, backsplashes, with grooves filled with plaster (?); gilding worn.
