Two "bonheur du jour" desks: - one in mahogany veneer, opening at the top with a dark mirror flap, revealing two shelves and five small drawers, framed by two pilasters resting on a table opening with a drawer in the waist, with a scalloped spacer shelf resting on four legs. Black marble top. Early 19th century. 127 x 39.5 x 79.7 cm. Lock on flap to be revised. Chips, accidents, missing parts and old restorations. - A herringbone rosewood veneer in mahogany frames, with a tiered top featuring three central shelves, flanked by two shelves each revealing four small drawers, and a fold-out top, with a drawer in the waistband, and resting on four sheathed legs. Plain veneered back. Louis XVI style, 20th century. 106 x 72 x 40.5 cm. Insolate, cracks, chips, a few accidents and missing parts.
