FRANCE, early 20th century Moulded silver (950) circular covered vegetable dish on pedestal, with cartouches in tables punctuated with scallop shells, and bordered with friezes of gadroons punctuated with shells. Two side grips. Stylized Fretel. Figured MCM. Minerve and goldsmith's hallmarks: Louis COIGNET, active in Paris between 1893 and 1928. Total weight: 1.055 g. - Width: 25 cm. Scratches from use, a few knocks; lid to be revised, slightly warped.
