Silver (925) tea service (3 pieces) with teardrop decoration, on scalloped frame, comprising a teapot, with blackened wooden handle and fretel, a sugar bowl and a creamer, with S-shaped handles.
Goldsmith's hallmark: WALKER & HALL, associated in Sheffield from 1900.
Teapot: SHEFFIELD, 1905 [n] - Sugar bowl: CHESTER, 1906 [F] - Creamer: BIRMINGHAM, 1907 [h].
Punch with lion passant. Repunched with the Charançon.
Dealer's signature below: CARMEN.
Gross weight (teapot): 389 g. - Total net weight (sugar bowl and creamer): 318 g.
Scratches and a few knocks from use; fretel and handle restored.
