CHINA Two porcelain plates: - one decorated with the Toilette de Diane (?) in grisaille, with orange carnations. Border decorated with a garland of foliage, a frieze of stings and gilded fillets. Compagnie des Indes, mid 18th century. Diameter: 23 cm. Some flaws to the enamel, wear, notably to the faces, a chip to the reverse. [A whole set of grisaille plates, featuring the same leafy garland, is preserved in the Musée de Villèle, La Réunion (Inv. 1990-)]. - a polylobed porcelain plate with polychrome decoration, in the center a "chien de fô" with a ball, and on the wing four cartouches with birds or ducks and a trellis. Late 19th century. Diameter: 24.8 cm. Wear and tear.
