ENGLAND, early 20th century Green painted cardboard watch case with hammered silver plate (min 800) on the lid and green velvet fabric inside. 8.5 x 7.3 x 2.3 cm Net weight: 10.9 g. - Gross weight: 48 g. Tears, knocks and wear, silver mount to be reattached. ATTACHED: Five white enameled watch dials, some with polychrome decoration of figures and views of fortified houses. Two dials with hour markers in Arabic numerals and railroad markers for the minutes, and three dials with hour markers in Roman numerals and railroad markers and Arabic numerals for the minutes. Diameters: 4.6 cm; 4.6 cm; 4.5 cm; 2 cm; 2 cm. Numerous accidents and missing parts.
