Globe free to rotate by its polar axis fixed on the meridian circle, which is itself adjustable in inclination and held by the horizontal azimuth ring. maintained by the horizontal azimuth ring. Meridian and azimuth circle divided into degrees on brass. Printed paper printed paper. Numbered 10026 BHS-YE and R/7611/BHS. Sphere diameter: 18.5 cm. Some wear and rubbing to the sphere, especially near the name. In a mahogany and varnished plywood case, with instructions glued to the reverse of the lid. Varnished brass top handle (scratches and a few knocks; tears and missing leaflet).
