"Jacques" (most with small cat sketch), 3 with DRAWINGS and one with COLLAGE, [1942-1944 and n.d.], to Claudy CARTER; 25 pages various sizes, including 6 cards or postcards (one incomplete), one address. Beautiful loving correspondence to his companion during the Occupation, inspirer of the Feuilles mortes. Claudy Emanuelli, known as Claudy CARTER, met Prévert in 1938: she was sixteen years old, he was thirty-eight; she acted in several films; they left each other after twenty years.
