Chest of drawers in rosewood veneer and light wood marquetry, decorated with fillets, rosettes and palmettes, opening with four drawers, resting on corner feet. Grey veined white marble top with triple molding. 97 x 128 x 59,5 cm. Chips and small shocks to the marble; front corners of the top, under the marble, are missing. Rosewood (genus Dalbergia spp, family Fabaceae) This pre-Convention specimen having undergone a mechanical destructuration by cutting, polishing, or turning is listed in Appendix II of the Washington Convention (CITES), since January 2, 2017, and in Appendix B of the EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996. For a possible export, it will be up to the successful bidder to inquire - prior to any purchase of this lot - with the customs of the country concerned, particularly if it is the United States. For a departure from the EU, a CITES re-export will be necessary, this one being at the charge of the future buyer.
