Invocation of Lucrece to Venus, beginning of a poem (109 lines): "O mother of loves, O mother of Romans, Venus, eternal charm of Gods and humans, You alone, embracing all with your salutary fire, Peoples the air and the waters, and fertilizes the earth ". Letters to his friend Jean-Louis LAYA (1782, about a visit to relatives), to Louis de FONTANES (to support a proposal of Ducis to the Institute, 1795), to Charles-Auguste de SAINT-ANGE, professor at the Central School of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine (homage of a new collection of poems), to Jean-Nicolas BOUILLY (about the Mercure), to "Joséphine" (widower, he says he is her "future husband", 1811), to a publisher, etc. An autograph manuscript, " Plan d'Arthur, tragédie en cinq actes " (1 p. in-4, certified by Ernest Legouvé); and a l.a.s. from Mme Adèle Legouvé to Laya, [1806], about La Mort d'Henri IV.
