6 autograph MANUSCRITS; 14 pages in-4 or in-8 (portrait attached).
Drafts of poems.
Drafts, often very erased and corrected. Stances to a friend whom I was to visit in late autumn: "Winter no longer covers our countryside with ice" Saint Paul to Philemon, epistle (4 pages in-8), edited with some corrections, of which we quote the beginning:
"Chained to the God on whom I rest
In these glorious irons whose cause I adore
Of my apostolate too honorable price ".
The drafts, sometimes fragmentary, include other epistles, and epigrams, most of them in octosyllables.
Two L.A.S. "Gresset" are attached.
