A gilt bronze and brass mantel clock with several patinas and white marble decorated with a gallant scene composed of a languid woman, listening to the statements of a man in tunic, seated on a herbal and flowery mound, fruit basket and flowery foliage, resting on a rectangular quadripod base decorated with acanthus leaves in gilt bronze and eagles with lightning bolts, on two scrolled feet decorated with boars' heads in front and two angular feet in the back. White enamelled dial with blue Roman numerals for the hours and a railway for the minutes. Movement signed "ROBLIN à Paris". Wire suspension. H. 39.5 cm - 53 cm long. Wear and oxidation to the gilding and patinas, dirt to the marble.
