A brass inlaid cartel and a bracket with a brown background decorated with birds, tendrils, scrolls, flowers and foliage.
Dial with twelve enamelled copper cartouches with blue Roman numerals for the hours, signed "J.B. PAILLARD à Paris" in an enamelled cartouche. Centre decorated with two birds facing each other among foliage, under a portico.
Movement with key winding, with plate signed "Jea Bapt Paillard à Paris".
Ornamentation in gilt bronze such as bas-relief with a young draped woman, mouldings, falls, scrolled feet, child in cushion, angular heads of women, base, some elements reported.
Apocryphal stamp of MARCHAND, inscribed several times.
Partly from the Louis XV period.

Wear, accidents and missing parts, notably the index of the dial, the glass, a hinge of the door and the marquetry.
Old restorations.
Specimens in tortoiseshell Chelonioidea spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to June 1, 1947 and therefore in compliance with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc.
