FRANCE ou ANGLETERRE, vers 1800-1820
ROBIN. Blunderbuss rifle with flint of navy. Lock, signed and hammer with swan neck, with flat bodies and engraved of lines of dotted. Rear safety behind the hammer. Round bronze barrel, ringed, with flared mouth, then with five sides towards the thunder, with decoration of flowers and frieze of pearls. Smooth. Calibre 30 mm with the mouth. Punches P and V with the thunder. Folding bayonet on the top of the barrel, blocked by hook spring placed on the tail of breech. Varnished walnut barrel. Oval medallion pearled (virgin) in part of inch. Cut brass fittings, including butt plate, with engraved trigger guard and counter plate. With a brass ramrod and brass head (eats). Grenadière possibly brought back. Barrel length: 47.5 cm - Overall length: 84 cm. Oxidation and rust bloom on all iron parts; patinated and scratched brass, shocks to the muzzle of the barrel; worn varnish, stained wood, scratches and shocks to the barrel, and cracks in front of the lock plate and counter plate.
