Autograph letter signed to his copyist Edmond Laumonier. No place, no date. 1 page in-8. Address on the verso of the second page "Monsieur Laumonier". He mentions the sale to Michel Lévy of his translations of Edgar Poe, for which Laumonier was Baudelaire's copyist. "Nothing. Nothing before the 5th, before Thursday perhaps. It is Thursday that the deal with Michel will be concluded." Small folds, stains, and small lack. Provenance: Galerie Signatures, Paris. A copy of the certificate of authenticity will be given to the future buyer.
