Sculpture de Laurence Jenk "Wrapping Bonbon Rouge », plexiglas 46 cm, socle en plexiglas noir 17 x 15 x 1,5 cm, pièce unique JENK 2020
Laurence Jenk is an internationally renowned French artist. A self-taught contemporary artist, Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, she exhibits all over the world. The "Wrapping" literally the winding of the material, associated with the "Twist" of the wrapping paper makes her "Bonbon" sculptures unique works. Little by little, the artist declines this symbolic object in other materials such as marble, bronze, aluminium or polyester. A universal subject, Laurence Jenk's candy is not only a symbol of softness, it is also twisted, draped, resistant and entangled. It allowed her to exorcise certain demons of her childhood and to question her own heredity. Withdrawal of the work in Vallauris or shipping costs to be paid by the buyer.
