Chest of drawers in rosewood veneer, with curved front and sides, opening with five drawers on three rows, resting on four small slightly arched feet. Rich ornamentation of bronzes with rocaille decoration such as: handles, entries of keys, falls, sabots, lamp bases. Pyrenean red-brown marble top, moulded. Stamped by CRIAERD and stamped by the Jurande des Menuisiers et Ebénistes de Paris on the top of the right rear foot. Stamped by CHEVALLIER on the top of the right front foot. Louis XV period. H.: 90 cm - L.: 131 cm - D.: 68.5 cm. Cracks; uprisings, accidents and damages to the marquetry; worm holes. A handle and a keyhole to be refixed, tears and welds to some bronzes. Chips and some chips to the marble. Mathieu CRIAERD, received Master in Paris in 1738. Jean-Mathieu CHEVALLIER, received Master in Paris in 1743.
