A small travelling cabinet, made of rosewood, ebony and blackened wood veneer, decorated with engraved and blackened ivory or bone fillets stylizing ribbons or leaves, with box decorations, resting on four turned and blackened wooden legs. The flap decorated with diamond-shaped or triangular ivory plates, engraved with a scene of a river village, animated, or flowers in spandrels, and revealing a long and seven small drawers framing a door, with fronts decorated with rectangular ivory plates engraved with hunting subjects or a rider near a fire, in the taste of Tempesta, later, added. The interior of the central niche is decorated with rectangles in brown wood inlays. Enriched later with a bronze or brass trim, moulded, patinated, such as: openwork angles, mobile handles and gilded keyhole with horns of plenty. The ivory elements (Elephantidae spp; < 20 %) of this cabinet are pre-Convention. H.: 42 cm - W.: 52 cm - D.: 33 cm. Cracks, accidents, old restorations, parts glued back together, a few splinters, wormholes, a few chips and missing parts, especially on the drawer plates.
