DERUTA, fin du XVème siècle
Large cylindrical majolica albarello with two dragon-shaped handles, polychrome decoration on one side with the inscription AVE MARIA RAI in a banner surrounded by foliage in a rectangular frame and on the other side with a stylized flower; with rope in relief on the shoulder and the base. The neck decorated with a frieze of foliage. H.: 25.5 cm - W.: 31.5 cm. One handle replaced with a chip in one ear, the other handle with restorations to the dragon's ears and the tip of its mouth; two restored chips to the tip of the dragon's wings, a third restored on the neck; two areas of restoration on the neck, probably restored enamel chips; five restored enamel chips on the body.
