A silver (950) baluster-shaped coffee pot with a fluted spout, standing on three feet with medallion-shaped hooks. The lid is moulded with a scrolled thumb piece and a flower-shaped fretel. Turned natural wood side handle, formerly blackened. Goldsmith's mark: Gabriel MESTRE, received master in 1762, still active in 1790. Mark of Charge [B] of BORDEAUX for 1780-1789 and Jurande [unicorn] for 1789. Gross weight : 471g. - H. : 21 cm. Coat of arms under the crown of the county degraded on the body. Scratches and shocks; repolished.
