Nine silver (950) round-bottomed goblets, with necks underlined by fillets: 1- a small one, engraved later on the body of a mavelot in a medallion, bordered with branches of foliage. Mark of goldsmith: ?. W. Fleur de lys and crowned A hallmarks [the latter resembling that of the AVIGNON Recognition of 1755]. H. 5.5 cm. Repolished. 2- a medium. Goldsmith's hallmark: François GUILBERT-LATOUR, received Master in 1745 in Chalon-sur-Saône, active in Louhans, then in Auxerre (1747-1793). Punches A and C crowned, not coherent [crown of A open]. H. 6.1 cm. Scratches, small crack at the edge; repolished. 3- one medium, engraved later on the bottom "J.L. Vaucher". Goldsmith's hallmark: Charles-Joseph FONTAINE, received Master in Meaux in 1765 [second hallmark in use between 1769 and 1789]. Mark of Charge [A] and of Discharge [chien] of the Generality of PARIS for 1775-1781 and of Jurande [P] for 1778. H. 6 cm. Crushing, shocks. 4- one medium. Goldsmith's hallmark : C.M. Marks of Charges [S] and of Discharge [leaf] of the Jurisdiction of REIMS for 1775-1781 and of Jurande [D] for 1779. H. 6.1 cm. Some scratches; repolished. 5- a medium one, figured later under the neck "L.A". Goldsmith's hallmark, incomplete: perhaps Jean-Joachim JOUETTE, received Master in 1759. Punches of Charges [C] and of Discharge of the Jurisdiction of REIMS for 1781-1789 and of Jurande [insect] incomplete. H. 5.8 cm. Crushing, oxidation. 6- a medium, engraved later under the neck "E.A. GIRARD". Goldsmith's mark: François-Martin MICHELIN, received Master in 1758, still active in 1789. Mark of Charge [A] and of Discharge [cock] of the Generalite de PARIS for 1781-1790 and of Jurande [C] of PROVINS for 1777-1785. H. 6.1 cm. Traces of crushing, oxidation. 7- a small one, engraved later under the neck "C. JUIN". Goldsmith's mark : François-Martin MICHELIN, received Master in 1758, still active in 1789. Mark of Charge [A] and of Discharge [cock] of the Generalite de PARIS for 1781-1790 and of Jurande de PROVINS for 1784. H. 5.9 cm. Some scratches, oxidation. 8- a small one, figured later under the neck "I.M". Punches R and A crowned. H. 5.2 cm. Poor condition. 9- a medium one, figured later under the neck "C.H.D." Traces of hallmarks, very worn. H. 6.9 cm. Scratches and some small shocks. Repolished. Total weight : 513 g.
