Planter forming a horseshoe shaped centerpiece. Smoked glass with polychrome enamel decoration and gilded with two locusts, a cricket, a dragonfly and a wasp, on a gilded speckled background, resting on three colourless glass feet. Engraved signatures "E. Gallé, Nancy, déposé" under the body and "Gallé à Nancy" on one foot. H.: 7.5 cm. - Length: 27.2 cm. Some material defects and some bubbles, small gilding wear.
