Two oils on canvas mounted on panel, forming a pendant. 16 x 21 cm. Small lacks, old yellowed varnish. Wooden frames and gilded stucco with scrolls and flower motifs. Petits accidents et manques. Provenance: On the reverse of an old catalogue label, completed by a handwritten indication in blue ink: "Paris, Hôtel Drouot, salle 1, sale of 5 October 1936, Bout (Ecole de Pieter), deux pendants, 40-41. Landscapes with watercourses, animated with characters". Two handwritten inscriptions attribute the works to Lucas van Uden (1595-1672).
