P.S. "Io Giuseppe Balsamo"; 1 page in-4 (light pricking, small slit in the central fold). Very rare and curious subversive poem against Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette. This subversive poem is a parody of the prayer of the Our Father. Cagliostro signed this document, found in his papers seized in Rome during the trial of the Inquisition, when Cagliostro finally confessed that he was Balsamo. "Our Father who was at Versailles Your name be glorified, Your reign is shaken, Your will be suborned to theoix, Be done in earth as it is in heaven, Give us today our daily bread That you have taken from us, Forgive the Parliamentarians, Who have supported your interests, Send back the ministers who sold them, Do not succumb any more to the temptations of Antoinnette But deliver us from the Devil of the Keeper of the Seals So be it".
