Boundary clock in brass and bronze gilded in matte and brilliant, and chased, with Orpheus playing the lyre, a torch, and a crown, and a mandolin against a pedestal, containing the movement, decorated on the front with garlands of flowers and torches. White enamelled dial, signed MICHELEZ, rue St Honoré N°28 in Paris, with Roman numerals for the hours and rail for the minutes, in black. Rectangular base, resting on four ball feet, adorned with applied floral medallions with crossed and knotted arrows, framing a musical trophy with a swan and a butterfly. Threaded suspension. H. : 53 cm. - Width: 34 cm. - Depth : 13 cm. Wear and tear and some gilding scratches, a few stains; missing a lyre rope.
