An ormolu clock in patinated and gilded bronze in the shape of an escutcheon vase with a gadrooned base, surmounted by a pine cone and resting on a circular pedestal and square base molded with four small circular feet. Round white enamelled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and railway numerals for the minutes, signed "PROUVARELLE, A Paris". H. : 37 cm. - Width : 12 cm. With a quadrangular glass globe. The watchmaker Prouvarelle or Pourvarelle was active in Paris, rue du Marché aux Poirées, between 1800 and 1820.
