Six groups of ivory (Elephantidae spp; > 20%; pre-Convention) carved - Palanquin with four carriers, on a terrace. 7 x 14 cm. - Two men standing on a terrace, one holding a square, the other a fan. 7.3 x 6.3 cm. - Elephant in palanquin, with three carriers. 10.5 x 10 cm. One carrier missing. - Pair of oxen harnessed to a cart, with driver, on a terrace. 7.5 x 10.6 cm. Driver and cart to be reattached. Total gross weight (presence of glue): 353 g. Accidents, missing persons on terraces and subjects. - Bobby pin with elephant and two characters. H. : 17 cm - Net weight : 7 g. Wear and tear. - Shiva holding Ganesh as a child, sitting in front of a mandorla, framed by two maidservants with flypaper, on a terrace. In a showcase (closed) with gold patinated metal frame. H. 15.5 cm (judged) - Gross weight (with showcase): 620 g. Some accidents, elements to be refixed, traces of glue. The lot presented containing more than 20 % of worked Elephantidae spp (I/A) ivory, pre-Convention, before March 3, 1947 and thus in conformity with the EC Rule 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc, with the French decrees of August 16, 2016 modified and of May 4, 2017, can be marketed after declaration and obtaining a D permit. In order to do so, the person who has been declared successful by any means whatsoever for a lot containing more than 20% elephant ivory (elephantidae spp), and whose manufacture is prior to March 3, 1947, gives a mandate to Drouot Estimations to make the necessary purchase declaration on his behalf to the competent Administration in accordance with Article 2bis of the Order of August 16, 2016 as amended. The successful bidder, who is required to make a declaration, undertakes to provide Drouot Estimations without delay with all the information necessary for this purpose and to take all necessary steps requested by Drouot Estimations to do so. The successful bidder is solely responsible for carrying out any other due diligence resulting from the particular nature of such a lot under its responsibility. In particular, it is incumbent upon it to take the steps required by its possible resale or export. For an exit from the European Union, a CITES re-export certificate will be necessary, this being the responsibility of the future purchaser. The issue of such a document is not automatic. For a possible re-export, it will be the responsibility of the purchaser to check - prior to any purchase - with the customs of the country concerned, particularly if it is the United States.
