BUCQUOY (Cdt.).
First Empire uniforms. Series 1 to 226. (1910-1944). Nancy, Gevodius, (series 1 to 105), then Strasbourg, Ammel (series 106 to 119), then Strasbourg, Treuttel and Wurtz (from series 120). Collection of 9.5 by 14.1 cm colour documentary cards in sheets in edited envelopes, in 2 boxes. Important incomplete collection of his 221 (out of 226 series) with 1798 (out of 1837) maps of uniform plates of the Empire. The collection, consisting of postcards printed in black and then coloured with stencil, appeared in various subscription issues. Each series consisted of 8 cards in envelopes, (some series have 9 or 10 cards). The cards are signed by the greatest specialists: Arts, Benigni, Fort, Hilpert, Bucquoy, Knoetel, Toussaint, Malespina, Boisselier, Rousselot, etc. Some series are accompanied by their text. We enclose : Notice the 1st hussar. - Franco-Italian troops. - Murat. - The 2nd regiment of Chevau-Légers lancers of the Imperial Guard. - Little soldiers of Alsace. - The Belgian Chevau-légers. - The Staff Guides. - The elite gendarmerie of the Imperial Guard. - The Imperial Guard Mounted Chasseurs. - The Cuirassiers 1800-1815. - The uniforms of the Gendarmerie, the Marshalsea and the Guards. 1720-1940. With 20 colour plates. - The 19th Dragons. - The 91st series is in duplicate (10 full-colour cards including one reprint). Incomplete of 5 series. The series 43 and 118 are in an average state (glue trace on the back), 4 handwritten letters of the Maj. Bucqoy. We join : Lalaisse. The French Army and the Imperial Guard.
