Officer's sword. Ebony checkered fuse. Brass frame chiselled with leaves. Guard with a ringed and fluted branch and animal-headed quillons, keyboard made of pelted shield with two eagle heads and decorated with the Imperial Eagle encircling the beam of Jupiter. Two-edged blade and flat back, engraved with gold highlights: "Vive l'Empereur" in a cartouche and signed at the heel "Couillier fabt d'armes Rue St Honoré en Façe de la Fontaine de l'arbre sec n° 102 à Paris". Blade length : 77 cm - Total length : 90 cm. Without scabbard. Oxydations, some shocks and cracks to the rocket and wear to the gilding.
