FRANCE, probablement première moitié du XIXème siècle Pair of poly-lobed silver-plated copper bells with ribbed decoration, with leafy sockets on a leafy ring frieze. Alliance arms of the families of TALLEYRANDPERRIGORD and possibly of POMEREU, under a marquis's crown, underlined by a motto "Re Que Diou". Identical to n°118. Hallmark and signature of goldsmith, on the reverse of a bell: ODIOT in Paris, with indication "Doublé 10" and "Garnitre Arg". The other without any mark. Height: 13 and 14 cm. - Total width: 24 cm. Old slits at the bottom of some ribs, reinforced on the lapels. Wear, scratches, oxidation and shocks. Tear and missing winglet on a nut at the first bell. Part of the frieze of a socket missing at the second bell.
