The works of Pierre de Ronsard, a Vandom gentleman. Augmented with several poems by the author who did not appear in the previous edition. (rel. remboîtées). Eighth collective edition, the second posthumous and the penultimate published in the 16th century. It was established from the Buon edition of 1587 and was augmented by several unpublished pieces. It includes 5 identical portraits of Ronsard, one portrait of Charles IX and one of Henri III. A portrait in frontispiece has been added to volume I as a reprint. This edition is a very rare complete edition of 5 volumes. Restoration of the title, one restored portrait and some marginal tears on pp. 229-240 in volume V, some restoration on the spines and some on the corners of volumes II and V. Qq. scattered freckles and qq. slightly short trimmed leaves. Brunet 1375. Tear with missing pp.366 volume III.
