A gilt bronze boundary marker clock with the allegory of marine trade depicting an elegant sea anchor leaning on a marine anchor, leaning against a bollard surmounted by a horn of plenty and containing the dial with the hours in Roman numerals, and on the other hand a paddle and a trident decorated with a crown of flowers and ears of wheat. Blued steel needles. The whole resting on a rectangular base decorated with a bas-relief representing Mercury bringing abundance by the Sea and Mars resting while a trophy of arms is put on the pyre. The base is underlined by a frieze of water leaves. Restoration period. 47 x 34 x 11 cm. Wear and tear, elements to be reattached.
