Pair of cufflinks in yellow gold (583 / 56... - Lot 6 - Drouot Estimations
Pair of cufflinks in yellow gold (583 / 56 zolotniks) and silver (min. 800). The oval tray in the centre decorated with the Imperial Two-headed Eagle, with a faceted red stone and a pink-cut diamond, set in grain, on a background of radiant colourless enamel. The grained edges, that of the plateau, are highlighted by a frieze of small diamonds cut into eight-eight old or modern diamonds set with grain. The shuttle-shaped fixing, enamelled afterwards on a radiant wavy background. Style hallmark imitating SAINT-PETERSBOURG (for 1899-1908). A goldsmith's stamp resembling that of Mikhail PERCHIN, FABERGE's workshop manager from 1886 until his death, but probably apocryphal. Total gross weight: 13.8 g. - Shelf size: 21 x 17 mm. Small wear and tear on the enamel, some scratches and diamond chips, a missing stone.
