Pair of percussion cap duelling pistols. Signed, engraved scrollwork back plates, with hammers en suite. Ribbon barrels, rifled, octagonal. Calibre 13.5 mm. Selected walnut barrels, varnished, carved on the pommels with a frieze of leaves, with finely squared grips. Cut steel fittings, trigger guard with finger rests, numbered H.L. Middle of the 19th century. Length of barrels: 25,3 cm - Total length: 40,5 cm. A few scratches and small bumps to the wood, small oxidations near the barrels and wear to the patina. In its walnut case, with retractable brass handle on the lid, lined with tan leather, with accessories. 6,8 x 53,5 x 30 cm. Lid warped, scratched and split, with missing keys and a locking hook; worn leather inside. Stains, oxidation and some bumps to accessories; ball mould missing.
