"Sale in support of the actions of Médecins Sans Frontières, with the collaboration of Philippe Pasqua

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian association founded in 1971 by doctors and journalists. Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999, MSF has been providing medical assistance for 50 years to populations whose lives or health are threatened, mainly in the event of armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters or exclusion from healthcare.

This auction is part of the WE ART MSF operation, an artistic tribute to the association's actions, to interpret 50 years of commitment. For the first edition of WE ART MSF, a monumental painting by Philippe Pasqua will be exhibited to the general public in the heart of Paris, from 29 November 2021 to 30 January 2022. The work, which represents the portrait of a girl lying down with an intense gaze, is displayed on a 300 m2 canvas on the façade of 79 rue des Gravilliers. The original canvas, donated by Philippe Pasqua, is being auctioned as part of this sale.

The sale consists of a single lot. All proceeds from this auction will be used to finance the activities of Médecins Sans Frontières.
