Un après-midi avec Rémy et Catherine Marion, photographes animaliers spécialistes des ours polaires Catherine and Rémy Marion have been travelling the Arctic regions for over 30 years. Their first trip in 1986 was like injecting an incurable virus to the point of abandoning their work in industry. After dozens of journeys, books and films, they have put together a vast collection of documentation, photos and videos, exhibited at the international festival of animal photography in Montier en Der regularly, but also in Monaco, Geneva or Namur. Bears are undoubtedly their favourite animals, white, brown, black, kermode, but obviously the arctic and subarctic fauna as well as the landscapes of these bewitching regions are strong subjects of their approach as privileged witnesses of the changes of these wild regions.
