Musée de L'Homme et Café de L'Homme : une visite exclusive du musée par Bruno David, suivie d’une expérience culinaire mémorable en compagnie de Coco Coupérie Eiffel et Christophe Bonnat A major site of the National Museum of Natural History, the Musée de l'Homme was conceived in 1937 by Paul Rivet, its founding father, as a laboratory museum. A laboratory museum centred on one object, the human species, in all its diversity, complexity and, at the same time, uniqueness. The Musée de l'Homme is the place where the most modern research on our origins takes place. Mr Bruno David, President of the National Museum of Natural History, will offer the possibility to visit the museum and its reserves on an exclusive basis. You will also be able to enjoy a visit to the state-of-the-art laboratory for sequencing the DNA of our ancestors, as well as an unusual face-to-face encounter with the last human species discovered in 2019, Homo luzonensis, a 60,000-year-old species discovered by a researcher from the Museum of Man in a cave in the Philippines. The visit will end on a gourmet note at the Café de L'Homme, a place dedicated to French know-how and savoir-vivre. With a history rooted in culture, an architectural décor and a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower, Le Café de l'Homme, entirely redesigned by the Gilles and Boissier team of interior designers, adopts the Art Deco codes typical of the 1930s and characteristic of the Palais de Chaillot. Warmly welcomed by the owners, Coco Coupérie Eiffel and Christophe Bonnat, you will enjoy a culinary experience of the highest quality, showcasing local, artisanal products and at the same time all the producers working daily with Le Café de L'Homme. On the programme: - A private visit of the Musée de L'Homme with Mr Bruno David - An incredible culinary experience at Le Café de L'Homme with Coco Coupérie Eiffel and Christophe Bonnat, the warm owners of the place - Valid for 2 people - Location: Paris Photo credit 1: Musée de L'Homme Photo credit 2: Pierre Monetta
