PLAY International is a pioneering NGO in the field of education through sport.
It was founded in 1999, under the name Sport sans Frontières, on the basis of a strong conviction: sport is a powerful lever for education, development and social inclusion for young people. Our ambition is to bring about lasting changes in children's behavior, making them the enlightened citizens of tomorrow, and unleashing the extraordinary potential of sport.
To achieve this, we work on a daily basis, with our institutional partners and in the field, to :
- Promote the inclusion of the most vulnerable populations.
- Promote and facilitate access to sport as a source of physical and mental well-being.
- Raise awareness and give young people the means to respond to social issues and promote living together.
- Demonstrate and convince that sport is a powerful lever for development.
It currently has 8 offices worldwide: Burundi, Comoros, France, Kosovo, Mayotte, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Senegal.
