As every year since 2016, the National Rugby League organizes festive meetings around the end of the year celebrations. The TOP 14 clubs will compete again this year during a day placed under the sign of solidarity and commitment.
On the occasion of the Boxing Day, the National Rugby League (NRL) and the TOP 14 clubs have mobilized to support the Restos du Cœur association in its social missions through the solidarity operation "For Christmas, the TOP 14 gives a date to the Restos du Cœur".
All the clubs mobilized and the players of the Stade Toulousain, the Stade Français and the Union Bordeaux-Bègles wore during their matches an exclusive jersey, designed especially for the occasion, as well as the match balls, highlighting the colors and the logo of the Restos du Cœur.
In a context of unprecedented health crisis, the situation of young people and single-parent families remains worrying and the needs are immense. 40% of the people received by the Restos du Cœur are under 18 years old. Last year, thanks to its volunteers, the Restos du Cœur welcomed 1.2 million people and distributed nearly 142 million meals. Because rugby is a symbol of the values of living together, we need everyone to give solidarity a try and show that the rugby family has a heart!
The auction will take place from January 21 to 31, 2022.
