Self-serving tea service, figured "LB" under baron tortil, comprising : - a teapot, a milk jug and a sugar bowl in gilt silver (950), the body and lids decorated with fluting underlined by crossed ribbon fillets, the openwork grips in black-veined brown wood, the frétels in the shape of a pomegranate. Teapot: 14.5 x 18 cm - milk jug: 9.5 x 10 cm - sugar bowl: 10 x 10.5 cm. Total gross weight (pourers): 445 g. - Net weight (sugar bowl): 229 g. - a rectangular gilded metal tray with fluting and a frieze of crossed nets and ribbons and openwork scroll handles. 28 x 41.5 cm. Minerve and goldsmith's hallmarks: LAGRIFFOUL and LAVAL. Worn gilding, scratches. In a shaped box, numbered en suite.
