ENGLAND, late 19th century Elements of silver (800) embossed millwork toilet fittings: - an easel toilet mirror with a rocaille frame, openwork, topped with a medallion (virgin), applied on light blue velvet (modern). Goldsmith's hallmark illegible. BIRMINGHAM, 1886 [m]. Gross weight: 1.389 g. - 40 x 31 cm. Back detached. Mirror to be refixed. - two silver clothes brushes with rocaille decoration of flowers and loves. Goldsmith's hallmark: M.B. BIRMINGHAM, 1901 [b]. Goldsmith's hallmark: J.D. W.D. CHESTER, 1900 [R]. Total gross weight: 229 g. - two hand brushes decorated with foliage, birds, flowers and grotesque masks, figured L.M.J. and dated 1898. Goldsmith's hallmark: J.D. W.D. CHESTER, 1897 [O].
