PARIS, 19th century Pair of tapered vases on circular and square pedestals in white and gilt porcelain, with two scrolled handles featuring a Daphne mask. Polychrome decorations of village dance scenes in the Dutch style in reserves on one side, and fruit baskets and matted Lovers on the other. Square molded bases. H. 40.3 cm. Heavy wear to the gilding; oxidized threaded axes; dents on the square bases.
