FRANCE, seconde moitié du XIXème siècle CHAMELOT & DELVIGNE Deluxe bronzed steel pinfire revolver, "Gaucher" model. Single and double action. Octagonal barrel, signed on the side. Stripes. Cal. 9 mm. Six-shot full cylinder. Left rear door. Liege proofhouse stamp. Barrel and frame partially checkered and studded with silver. Stock with squared ebony plates carved with shells, pommel with ring. Folding trigger. Barrel length: 11 cm - Overall length: 22 cm. A few stains, scratches, minor knocks and chips from use; patina wear, particularly on some edges. In a reddish-brown leather-covered wooden case (replacement) decorated with fillets, cartouche and friezes of leaves and gilded highlights, lined with orange-brown suede with accessory (metal box & screwdriver). Wear, scratches and knocks from use; small tears on the lid. Category D.
