Model of an 84-gun, three-deck ship of the line, with figurehead and château arrière, in the style of the 18th century. Painted wood, ropes and sails in wood shavings. On an octagonal display tray in radiating green-tinted straw veneer, bordered by a balustrade with openwork wooden garlands. Work of the 19th century. 12 x 14.5 cm. Accidents, notably to the sails and balustrades, and minor damage. The display tray was later reassembled on a circular base in blackened wood, with the addition of a globe.
